- Model and width of the bands;
- Ring size or length, engraved or to be measured;
- Factory diamond-set versions;
- Hallmarks, serial number and Cartier signature.
Condition and restoration
Rose and white gold mark differently: scratches, band distortion and thinning through wear are common on older pieces. Resizing or repolishing carried out outside a Cartier workshop can narrow buyer interest — flag it at the valuation stage.
