Cookie policy

1. Definition

A cookie or tracker can remember a choice, secure a session or, where authorised by the user, measure website audiences.

2. Strictly necessary technologies

These are essential to operation or security and do not require consent:

• Cookie preference: the choice is stored for no more than six months, after which it is requested again.
• Session and security: protected areas are maintained for the session and, depending on the access mechanism, for up to 30 days.
• Cloudflare / Turnstile: anti-bot and anti-abuse protection on forms, with durations ranging from 30 minutes to 12 months depending on the tracker.

3. Optional audience measurement

Audience measurement is disabled by default. No audience-measurement or advertising tool is currently loaded: no corresponding third-party script runs and no corresponding optional cookie is placed.

Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads, provided by Google Ireland Limited, are used for audience measurement and advertising conversion measurement respectively. They are loaded only after an explicit choice allowing the “audience measurement” and “marketing” categories. Safeguards applicable to any transfers outside the EEA rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and European Commission standard contractual clauses. Cookie lifetime does not exceed 13 months and associated data is retained for no more than 25 months.

4. Managing your choices

On your first visit, you may accept all, refuse all or customise your choices. Accept and refuse are offered at the same level; refusal does not prevent use of the website. The choice expires after no more than six months and is then requested again.

You may reopen the panel at any time using the permanent “Manage cookies” link in the footer, then change or withdraw your choice. You do not need to delete browser data manually.
