Unlike Hermès or Chanel, Louis Vuitton does not play on scarcity. The consequence is direct: condition outweighs everything else, and a very well-kept bag can be worth twice a tired example of the same model.
Indicative ranges by model
- Speedy: €150 to €1,125 depending on size and condition;
- Neverfull: €275 to €1,050;
- Alma: €250 to €1,225;
- Keepall: €225 to €1,700;
- Capucines: €850 to €4,100;
- Twist: €825 to €2,450.
The models that hold up best
The Capucines and the Twist keep the best relative value, carried by sustained demand and more measured production. Conversely, the widely distributed Monogram canvas models suffer a sharper discount.
What you can do before selling
- Locate the date code inside the bag;
- Gently clean the vachette leather without aggressive products;
- Gather the dust bag, box, invoice and accessories (shoulder strap, padlock);
- Photograph the areas of wear rather than hiding them.
Describe your bag and we will consult our network for you.
